My name is Daniel Dabney. I am 19 and was born and raised in Gary, Indiana, and graduated from a 21st-century charter school in 2022. I am a youth development professional at the Gary Boys and Girls Club, and I am pursuing a future in communications, marketing, and minority advocacy. I want to change the narrative for people in my city and connect with those who are adamant about advocating for those who need it most. I am sure now more than ever that I have the power to change the world, and I hope the people watching me can feel inspired to do the same.
