Ciara Thrower
Ciara Thrower is a community organizer and environmental justice advocate who seeks to facilitate a just transition to a more renewable Riverside County. Born and raised in the Inland Empire, Ciara became interested in the environment at a young age and developed a love for exploring nature. This led her to pursue her bachelor’s degree in environmental studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, before returning home to the Inland Empire in 2021. When not working, Ciara loves taking kickboxing classes, reading classic literature, and watching true crime videos on YouTube. She currently resides in Corona with her mom, dad, sister, and nephew, DJ.
