Anike Akinfolarin
My name is Anike Akinfolarin, and I have a passion for STEM advocacy and creative writing. I am a research assistant at the Fischell Department of Bioengineering and the founder of STEM Sisters. I created STEM Sisters for young girls in my community who were interested in STEM but also wanted to experience mentorship while exploring their passions. I want to continue my strength of inclusiveness in the campus community and hopefully meet scholars with similar passions. I am planning to major in biomedical engineering with a minor in environmental science. Furthermore, I have been grateful to express my voice in writing competitions and STEM ambassador activities.
