Troy Blackwood has spent the last ~5 years at Google and currently leads the Structured Investments team within Google’s Treasury Department. During this time he has played a critical role overseeing the structuring and deployment of many of Google’s Social Impact funds [and Renewable Energy Investment initiatives] including the $100M Google Career Certificates Fund announced in February. Previously he spent a decade at Goldman Sachs in its Investment Banking Division, providing strategic advisory while leading the execution[/structuring] of mergers and acquisitions and financing transactions. Troy holds an BBA in Finance from Howard University.
