Ryan Stowers Bio Ryan Stowers is the Executive Director of the Charles Koch Foundation where he partners with education entrepreneurs to remove the biggest barriers holding people back from reaching their potential. The Charles Koch Foundation supports innovations in postsecondary education that allow learners to discover develop and deploy their unique aptitudes and gifts to benefit themselves and others as well as best in class research exploring the key issues of society such as immigration criminal justice and economic opportunity. Since joining 15 years ago Stowers has led the growth in the Foundation's grantmaking from a handful of partnerships at colleges and universities to more than 300 with some of the most innovative institutions and organizations working to transform education. Ryan earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Utah State University where he now serves on the national advisory board for the John M. Huntsman School of Business. He also serves on the national advisory board of the Woodbury School of Business at Utah Valley University and the board of directors of the Bill of Rights Institute and the Institute for Humane Studies. Ryan is also a certified member of the National Ski Patrol. A passionate volunteer in his local community Ryan and his wife Rebecca and their four children reside in northern Utah.
